Thanks to Wendy Halihan and Susan Henley who have organized a Chase The Ace Fundraiser
Beginning March 8, 2017, the contest will be held weekly,
every Thursday at 8 pm at
Houlie’s Hometown Pub (336 Route 10, Fredericton)

Every week the committee will sell tickets, available in person or online.
Tickets will be sold in increments of 5 for a dollar each.  Cash, cheque or credit card only.

You do not have to be present to win and the draw will be available via
Facebook “Live” through the Houlie’s Hometown Pub Facebook page.

The funds will be calculated weekly and divided as follows:
50% towards the rescues
30% to the jackpot
20% to the ticket holder

One ticket will be drawn and the winning ticket holder will have 15 minutes to call if
not present to claim.  If not claimed, another ticket will be drawn.
After two tickets are drawn and no one claims the winning numbers,
the money is held until the next week.

In the event the winner has called in with the winning ticket number or is present, they will win 20% of the money collected that week. The winner will then have the opportunity to pick a number based on the amount of cards.  The deck will be shuffled and all the cards will be placed face down.  The chosen card will be shown and if it’s the Ace of Spades the winner gets the jackpot and if not, that card will be removed forever from the contest.

Please join us for this fun fundraiser.  Donations will go to Oromocto SPCA, Fredericton SPCA, Carleton County Animal Shelter and DunRoamin' Stray and Rescue.

Any questions, please call Wendy Hallihan at 461-3286, Susan Henley at 474-3948 or contact us on Facebook

Kim Nowlan, Porter's Lake, Nova Scotia has written a song in support of chained dogs everywhere.  Laws need to change so that these beautiful animals can be free of chains.

Proceeds from the sales of this cd on our website go to helping the animals of DunRoamin' Stray and Rescue.  You may purchase them at DunRoamin' Stray and Rescue, 55 Allison Road, Riverbank, NB (basement door).  Cost is $15 each.

If requested, we can ship cds for a small additional fee.  Send an e-mail to treasurer@dunroaminstrayandrescue.com for more info.

Thank you for supporting the ongoing efforts to help these animals live the life of which they are deserving.

Thank you, Kim, for writing this beautiful song, for helping to bring awareness to the plights of these animals and for your generosity and dedication to helping make their lives better.

DunRoamin’ Stray and Rescue has a new fundraising initiative. We are excited to accept your donation of unwanted gift cards. Haven't we all received gift cards that won’t be used, just to lay in the drawer? Why not donate them to DunRoamin’ to help care for our stray and rescued cats and dogs? Drop your unwanted/unused gift cards to DunRoamin’ or mail them to the address below. Please remember to include your name, complete mailing address and telephone number. You will receive an income tax receipt for 100% of the face value of the card in the new year.

Thank you for your support of the Strays of DunRoamin’.
